A prayer a day keeps the devil away but if the devil is too tempting should you keep the prayer away ?

I always kick start my day with a prayer to God. And that’s exactly what gives me the strength to face that day.  As Gandhi says ” prayer is the key of the morning and the bolt of the evening”. A prayer can do wonders through out the day. A prayer can perform miracles beyond human comprehension. A prayer can give you the strength to face the challenges and temptations of the devil. Prayer is the most powerful weapon a person can have. I have noticed that at times when i forget to pray there is something odd and dull about that day. And that day often turned out to be mentally unsatisfying regardless of how good everything else has turned out. My strength to withstand each day is through prayer. And there is nothing more marvelous than communicating to the great God.

Josh Groban’s THE PRAYER :

I pray you’ll be our eyes

And watch us where we go

And help us to be wise

In times when we don’t know

Let this be our prayer

As we go our way

Lead us to a place

Guide us with your Grace

To a place where we’ll be safe

I pray we’ll find your light

And hold it in our hearts

When stars go out each night

Let this be our prayer

When shadows fill our day

Lead us to a place

Guide us with your grace

Give us faith so we’ll be safe.

We ask that life be kind

And watch us from above

We hope each soul will find

Another soul to love

Let this be our prayer

Let this be our prayer

Just like every child

“If I fail to spend two hours in prayer each morning, the devil gets the victory through the day. I have so much business I cannot get on without spending three hours daily in prayer” –  Martin Luther
